Swedish/Therapeutic Massage (30, 60, or 90 Minutes, 120 Minutes Available soon!):
Therapeutic massage is a general term that describes any type of massage modality that helps relieve pain, reduce stress, and work on a specific problem. It can involve soft to deep pressure, long, kneading strokes and movement of the joints. It can be both relaxing and energizing.
Reflexology (30 or 60 Minutes, can be added to another massage):
This technique stimulates pressure points on the feet that correlate to specific areas throughout the body. It is extremely relaxing and a great alternative for those who may not want to experience a full-body massage.
Reike (30 or 60 Minutes, can be added to another massage):
Increases and frees unbalanced energy flow in the body. Reiki uses only touch and sometimes merely the proximity of the healer’s hands to particular parts of the body.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage (90 Minutes for a Full Treatment):
Gentle rhythmic pulsing manually drains the lymph system. It is a superficial technique, effective for skin problems, fibromyalgia and detoxification, also for general cleansing of the body’s tissues or swollen extremities.
Prenatal massage or Side-Lying Massage (30, 60, or 90 Minutes, 120 Minutes Available soon!):
Therapeutic bodywork that focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through the dramatic changes of pregnancy. The mother cuddles with pillows to support her as she lay on her side if she cannot lay face down. Side-lying can be used for other massages as well.
Cupping - Muscle, Digestive, Facial and Detoxifying Cellulite Reduction (Available Soon!):
Suction cups rapidly facilitate rigid soft tissue release, loosen and lift connective tissue, break up and drain stagnation while increasing blood and lymph flow to skin and muscles.
Hot Stone (Currently Not Available):
This modality combines Swedish massage techniques with warmed basalt stones. Smooth stones are moved over the muscles to create warmth deep within the muscle tissue. This allows deep muscle work without having to use excessive pressure. It creates a deeply relaxing experience that relieves muscle tension and relaxes the body’s soft tissues, alleviating pain and improving circulation.
